Group Movement Classes

Vigor, Tone, and Mightier Bone
Description: This class will incorporate strength training using dumbbells & resistance bands. Participants may experience increases in flexibility, strength, endurance, agility, & balance.
Description: This class is ideal for those who are new to T’ai Chi. Participants will be introduced to the Moving for Better Balance T’ai Chi 8 forms that emphasize weight shifting, postural alignment, & coordinated movements.
Description: This class will incorporate slow & rhythmic movements to stretch most major muscle groups, which may improve flexibility.
Description: This class is ideal for those who love to move to music! It incorporates easy-to-follow line dances & routines. Dancing can help improve coordination & act as a great cardiovascular workout!
Description: No equipment needed, the class will include a variety of boxing and martial arts moves including punches & kicks (so a chair for balance will be recommended) but alternative options will be discussed. The class will have different levels of participation and the music will be slower than what a regular cardio box class would be. Moves can be modified and done from a chair.
Description: This class incorporates simple heart pumping, stepping patterns, utilizing a platform. The routines will boost your heart rate and strengthen your muscles. (This can be modified by doing the movements on the floor, without the platform).
