Elizabeth Bell, MD, joined UNMC/Nebraska Medicine as a practicing head and neck surgical oncologist in July 2019. Dr. Bell received her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine prior to completing her residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Bell then went on to pursue advanced head and neck surgical oncology training as a Fellow at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Bell treats a variety of head and neck malignancies including cancer of the thyroid gland and salivary glands, as well as cancer that affects the mouth, throat, and neck. Dr. Bell is also certified to treat head and neck cancer using minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. Bell is originally from Oklahoma and in her free time enjoys hiking, cooking, and reading.
