Fourth Year Residents
Andrew Baldwin, M.D.
Andrew grew up in the great state of North Dakota. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Biology and Chemistry from The University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, where he was selected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.
He enjoys spending time with beautiful wife, Julie, and their two kids. He also enjoys being active in his local church, exercising, spending time outside hunting/fishing, and cheering on Husker sports…GO BIG RED!
Mike Stuntz, M.D.
Mike is a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa and attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln for his undergraduate education. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in May 2014 and completed an internship in internal medicine at UNMC prior to ophthalmology residency.
He and his wife, Natalie have two children and enjoy going to the zoo or traveling to any place with a beach.
Third Year Residents
Shaza Al-Holou, M.D.
Shaza originally from Syria and was raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in International Studies. She then attended the University of Michigan Medical School, during which she spent a year as a fellow in the Medical Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health. Before coming to Omaha, she worked as a first year resident at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She speaks Arabic and Spanish.
In her free time, Shaza enjoys reading novels, traveling, and visiting family.
Colin Brown, M.D.
Colin was born, raised, and educated in the great state of South Dakota. After completing his undergraduate training at South Dakota State University, he then obtained his medical degree at the University Of South Dakota Sanford School Of Medicine and later moved to Omaha to complete his intern at Creighton University School of Medicine. Colin also spent one year in between medical school & his residency training pursuing research in the fields of cornea, cataract & refractive surgery.
In his spare time, Colin enjoys being outside participating in many activities when possible, and as an avid traveler, he has been in multiple medical mission trips around the world.
Mariaha Cobb, M.D.
Mariaha was born and raised in Fargo, ND and was the first in her family to attend college. After graduating from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and Honors and a minor in Chemistry, she attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. After obtaining her medical degree, she moved to Omaha to complete her intern year at University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter, cooking, crafting, and painting. After training, she looks forward to helping rural residents of all ages in the Midwest.
Second Year Residents
Dallin Andersen, M.D.
Dallin Andersen grew up in Anchorage, Alaska.
He attending Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where he studied Neuroscience and graduated with University Honors. He attended the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. After his third year, he completed a year of bench research where he used next-generation sequencing to characterize the healthy ocular surface microbiome under the direction of Russell Van Gelder, MD, PhD. He completed his internship in general surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
He loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He speaks Spanish and enjoys fly fishing, rock climbing, snowboarding, volunteer work, playing piano, and seasonal pumpkin carving.
Lauren Maloley, M.D.
Lauren Maloley was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Creighton University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biology and minor in Spanish and Hispanic Studies. She obtained her medical degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and was selected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Lauren enjoys running and dancing. Growing up, she was classically trained and competed nationally in ballet, tap, and jazz. She also loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dog Oscar. Although a Nebraska native, her loyalty is to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
