Transform Knowledge into Action
Rapid advancement in health care requires leaders who are ready to actively shape the future of UNMC through engagement, courage, and collaboration — not “top down” or “talking at” strategies.
Faculty Development’s iLEAD (Interprofessional Leadership for Excellence and Academic Development) certificate program provides you with the tools you need to become a creative, confident, and agile leader with a clear path to achieve your career goals.
iLEAD is a one-year, applied-learning experience. It is designed for individuals who are committed to accelerating their leadership skills and performance within and outside the organization. Learning is driven by an interprofessional leadership community, which moves faculty out of their everyday departmental silos to expand networks and gain insights from a broad cross section of colleagues. Small group peer coaching enriches the experience with critical thinking and progress planning..
Our iLEAD graduates become flexible, visionary and reflective leaders with the skills necessary to improve and sustain positive change in their career trajectory.
