What interested you most in UNMC?:
High level academic training with a family feel!
What was your first job?:
Summer staff crew member at a guest ranch in Buena Vista, Colorado! Job included cleaning cabins and lodge rooms, serving meals in the dining hall, being on pit pot duty in the kitchen, and leading half-day hikes. It was the dream job!
What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:
South Africa! (to see my mom's family!)
Career aspirations:
Family Medicine with Obstetrics! My goal would be to have a practice full of pediatrics, and serve adults and families all the way through their geriatric years!
If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:
I'd be an international hiking guide & lead backpacking trips/tours!
If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:
Get up early, walk to a local coffee shop (fav is Village Grinder), meet up with friends and do something outdoorsy, and end the day with a sunset run!
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:
Escape Rooms and Fat Putter during orientation month with my fellow Sub-Is and interns!
