International Observerships

UNMC works with partner universities and hospitals around the world to develop medical clinical observation training programs.  The OGE provides opportunities for international physicians to learn the US medical system and clinical practice at UNMC and its affiliated partners in Omaha.  These are strictly observerships; no patient-contact is allowed.  These training programs generally last 4-8 weeks.  There is also an opportunity for participants to take a 2-week intensive medical English course prior to the clinical training program.  Visit UNO's webpage here to learn more about their ILUNO and IPD programs.

If you are interested in an individual observership at UNMC, the following departments have an open application process.

ALL OBSERVATIONS AT UNMC ARE ON HOLD INDEFINITELY DUE TO COVID-19
