There are a few options when choosing your living situation.
UNMC Campus Housing — There are a few different sizes, ranging from a 1-bedroom apartment to a 5-bedroom house. All are located on-campus, giving you easy access to facilities.
UNO Campus Housing — There are a few different sizes, ranging from a 1-bedroom to a 4-bedroom apartment. All are located off-campus, short commute to UNMC facilities. To get started complete the UNO housing application.
Real Estate with Honors — These options are located off-campus with listings specifically aimed toward UNMC students.
Utilities and Services
Metropolitan Utilities District — Provides natural gas to homes and apartments.
Omaha Public Power District — Provides electricity to homes and apartments.
Car Registration (Douglas County) — Information for out-of-state vehicle registration. You could be exempt from having to register.
Metro Credit Union — Set up a local checking account.
City of Omaha — General information about the Omaha area.
Entertainment — A great resource on places to go, things to do, and activities to try.
Omaha Dispatch — Online news for Omaha entertainment, food, and fun.
UNMC Childcare — Dedicated onsite daycare for students with children.
Classifieds — Create or view ads for items, services, and more, specifically for UNMC.
Discounts — Your ID badge gives you access to discounts at some surrounding businesses.
