Already Applying for an Assistantship or Fellowship?
You may still apply for the Purdue Pharma Scholars Award. Receipt of a Purdue Pharma Scholars Award does not guarantee UNMC Assistantship/Fellowship funding. However, if you’re chosen for funding through both mechanisms, the Purdue Pharma funding will substitute for the initial year of Assistantship/Fellowship support.
To help foster graduate training in pharmaceutical science and/or neuroscience (especially pain research), the Purdue Pharma Scholars Award program offers funding opportunities to students. This includes:
- One year of stipend support
- A scholarship of up to $10,000
- Chances to interact with Purdue Pharma researchers
