Grant Writing Workshop:
Techniques for grant writing are not often a skill that is taught, so many individuals struggle with creating successful grant applications. This program will help get you on track to improving your grant writing ability. The workshop is offered by the Office of Postdoctoral Education and open to graduate students.
Public Speaking Workshop:
Oral communication is an important skill, so this workshop provides you with training for effective public speaking. The workshop is offered by the Office of Postdoctoral Education and open to graduate students.
Interprofessional Education (IPE) Day:
UNMC holds a campus-wide IPE Day twice a year, with a goal of combining traditional health care students with disease-research focused students. By expanding this scope of cross-disciplinary interaction, we hope to enable collaboration and, ultimately, improve health care outcomes.
