The B. F. Skinner Foundation, in association with the Student Relations Committee of The Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy (BABAT), sponsors this annual award for graduate student research. The purpose of the award is to support and encourage research efforts in behavior analysis among graduate students and to boost the overall quality of academic research in behavior analysis. The award was presented to Stephanie Hood at the annual BABT conference, based on Stephanie’s research proposal, entitled “An Evaluation of Parents’ Acquisition and Generalization of Teaching Functional Communication and Delay and Denial Tolerance to Decrease Child Problem Behavior.” Stephanie enrolled at UNMC in Fall 2011 and completed her dissertation research under the mentorship of Kevin Luczynski, PhD, receiving the PhD degree in August 2015.
