2015 Innovative Student Research Dissertation Grant, presented by the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis

The Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis (SABA), in association with the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), provides funding for innovative dissertation research in psychology or behavior analysis that promotes basic or applied research in the experimental analysis of behavior. Grants are awarded to research that demonstrates an especially notable and strong commitment to the field of behavior analysis or psychology. Valdeep Saini was awarded a two-year fellowship for his project entitled “Refining Noncontingent Reinforcement Treatments Using Behavioral Momentum Theory.” Valdeep enrolled at UNMC in Fall 2013 and received his PhD in May 2016, studying under the mentorship of Wayne Fisher, PhD, Director of the MMI Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders and H.B. Munroe Professor of Behavioral Research.
