The sheep have finally arrived to our farm! Let me introduce you to the new crew…

These are Southdown Babydoll sheep, they grow to be about 24″ tall and perfect for mowing the lawn in our vineyard. Right now they are enjoying the fresh greens in our pasture, and getting used to the new surroundings. We have a donkey and two baby Nigerian Dwarf goats joining the team in a couple of weeks. Lucy and Jolene warmed up quickly and will eat out of my hand, while Daniel and Penny are more comfortable lurking from a distance for now. I’ll try and win them over with strawberries in a few days.
