MSN South Korea has confirmed the season’s second case of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) at a poultry farm, the North Chungcheong provincial government said Friday.
The announcement came after the agricultural ministry identified a suspected case the previous day at the duck farm in Eumseong, 94 kilometers south of Seoul.
The latest case follows South Korea’s confirmation of the season’s first highly pathogenic AI case last week.
