The first case of measles has been confirmed in Indiana.
According to the Indiana Department of Health, the person infected is an unvaccinated child in Allen County.
Public health officials are working on figuring out if this has led to any other cases in the area.
So far, the risk to the general public is low but vigilance is urged.
Measles is highly contagious and airborne.
