Kennedy Jr. terminated $500 million in federal funding for mRNA vaccine research last week, claiming he had&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/press-room\/hhs-winds-down-mrna-development-under-barda.html\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\u201creviewed the science,\u201d, opens in a new window\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201creviewed the science,\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;his press release linked to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/15787612\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"181-page document, opens in a new window\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">181-page document<\/a>&nbsp;as justification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I reviewed Kennedy\u2019s \u201cevidence.\u201d It doesn\u2019t support ending mRNA vaccine development. It makes the case for expanding it. The document isn\u2019t a government analysis or systematic review. It\u2019s a bibliography assembled by outside authors that, according to its own title page, \u201coriginated with contributions to TOXIC SHOT: Facing the Dangers of the COVID \u2018Vaccines\u2019\u201d with a foreword by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.).
