Covid cases are climbing again this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u2019s forecasting model estimates that infections are growing, or likely growing, in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/cfa-modeling-and-forecasting\/rt-estimates\/index.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"most states., opens in a new window\">most states.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the agency is reporting&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nwss\/rv\/COVID19-national-data.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"low levels of the virus in wastewater, opens in a new window\">low levels of the virus in wastewater<\/a>&nbsp;nationally, some states, including Texas, Utah and Nevada, are showing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nwss\/rv\/COVID19-national-data.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"very high concentrations of Covid, opens in a new window\">very high concentrations of Covid<\/a>&nbsp;in their wastewater. Emergency department visits linked to Covid are rising, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Researchers have braced for an uptick.
