It\u2019s been nearly a year since\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/renotahoe\/article\/california-health-alarm-hantavirus-mammoth-20259408.php\" class=\"\">three people died<\/a>\u00a0in Mammoth Lakes due to hantavirus, and the popular ski region is still taking precautions seriously.
