Of all the groups still threatened by Covid-19 \u2014 including the elderly and the immunocompromised \u2014 it is pregnant women who seem the most unaware of the risks. Covid\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jama\/fullarticle\/2788985\" target=\"_blank\">can kill<\/a>\u00a0pregnant\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jamanetworkopen\/fullarticle\/2793640\" target=\"_blank\">women<\/a>\u00a0and can\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/370\/bmj.m3320\" target=\"_blank\">result<\/a>\u00a0in miscarriage, preterm births and stillbirths even when the women have asymptomatic or mild illness.
