Now, a new study has found there are actually\u00a0<strong>four main subtypes of long COVID<\/strong>. The study, which was published in the journal\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/go.redirectingat.com\/?id=74968X1576256&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nature.com%2Farticles%2Fs41591-022-02116-3&amp;sref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.prevention.com%2Fhealth%2Fa42433806%2Flong-covid-subtypes-study%2F&amp;xs=1&amp;xcust=%5Butm_source%7C%5Butm_campaign%7C%5Butm_medium%7C%5Bgclid%7C%5Bmsclkid%7C%5Bfbclid%7C%5Brefdomain%7Cnews.google.com%5Bcontent_id%7C85d8763c-05a0-4307-9481-7a6fad53eb19%5Bcontent_product_id%7Cfb6c3bb0-1486-4169-a692-a20cbc5d6bb2%5Bproduct_retailer_id%7C94487d97-e468-4984-bdaa-fb4bbc70c04a%5Blt%7C\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Nature Medicine<\/em><\/a>, used machine learning to analyze clusters of symptoms in about 35,000 patients with long COVID. (Each patient had at least one lingering symptom after having COVID-19 that lasted between 30 and 180 days after they had the virus.)
