If not, you may want to track it down, because getting a new one could be tricky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is no longer distributing the white cards that were given out with Covid-19 vaccines earlier in the pandemic, according to the agency\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/faq.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDC notes that it does not keep vaccination records and says recipients should contact their state health department\u2019s\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/programs\/iis\/contacts-locate-records.html\" target=\"_blank\">immunization information system (IIS)<\/a>\u00a0if they want to keep track of their Covid-19 shots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYour state\u2019s IIS cannot issue you a vaccination card, but they can provide a digital or paper copy of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/hcp\/admin\/immuniz-records.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">your full vaccination record<\/a>, including your COVID-19 vaccinations,\u201d the agency says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDC recommends keeping a copy of your vaccination record for your primary care provider to help make future medical decisions.
