That\u2019s less than 15% of the doses authorities have said are needed to end the mpox outbreaks in Congo,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/mpox-congo-africa-health-emergency-d8ce571543a9b5ed9bd4dbde4d1a5cae\">the epicenter of the global health emergency.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following mpox outbreaks outside the African continent in 2022, wealthy countries quickly responded with vaccines and treatments from their stockpiles.
