All three cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) were reported in Washington after they were\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.koin.com\/news\/washington\/cdc-confirms-2-human-cases-of-bird-flu-after-outbreak-on-washington-farm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exposed to poultry that tested positive for the virus\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>on Oct. 15.
