The cuts and reorganizations affected people who help approve new medicines,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2025\/04\/01\/cdc-rif-2400-layoffs-rfk-jr-hhs-reorganization-rapid-response-capability-weakened\/\">track emerging pathogens<\/a>, and uncover the secrets held in our DNA.
