In 2024, it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/pertussis\/media\/pdfs\/2025\/01\/pertuss-surv-report-2024_PROVISIONAL-508.pdf\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;35,435 cases. So far this year, there have been 7,111 reported cases of whooping cough, according to an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/article\/whooping-cough-measles-outbreak-vaccine-hesitancy-trump\">analysis<\/a>&nbsp;by ProPublica.
