AUSTIN, Texas \u2014 Officials with Austin Public Health (APH) say they have detected traces of measles in Austin&#8217;s wastewater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>APH said the virus was detected through Travis County&#8217;s wastewater surveillance during the first week of July, but officials didn&#8217;t get the results to confirm that until last Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kvue.com\/article\/news\/local\/second-positive-measles-case-travis-county-texas\/269-ca36aa18-c578-4086-9895-3e2d0c9a4388\">two people in Travis County have tested positive for measles&nbsp;<\/a>so far this year.
