From its founding in 1994 by Lori and Paul Hogan, Home Instead
Senior Care has grown into the largest senior care business of its
kind in the world.
In 14 years, it has provided services to more than 400,000 seniors through a network of more than 800 franchise offices located in the United States and 13 other countries.
"The partnership between UNMC and Home Instead Senior Care is a perfect blend between academics and private industry. That has created a dynamic unlike anything we've seen in geriatrics and gerontology," said Paul Hogan, CEO for Home Instead Senior Care and a 1985 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
"We share a common goal with UNMC, Jane Potter and her team - to help people age more successfully," he said. "That's why this distinct relationship between Home Instead and UNMC holds such tremendous promise. We are confident that by working together we can do much more than just address problems. We will find solutions to truly help seniors age more successfully.
