Michael F. Sorrell Clinical Simulation Lab
The Sorrell Clinical Simulation Lab provides opportunities for education to improve the safety and quality of patient care. The 7,750 square foot facility offers an interdisciplinary environment to enhance clinical skills through simulation. Participants practice on patient simulators, task trainers, and/or work with standardized patients who role-play realistic medical conditions. 

Nebraska Applied Research Institute is the Center of Excellence for Building and Utility Control System cybersecurity. NARI's work includes applied cybersecurity and data science research, hands-on training, and application and tool development.

UNeMed is the technology transfer and commercialization office for the University of Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC's clinical partner, Nebraska Medicine. UNeMed serves all UNMC and Nebraska Medicine researchers, faculty and staff who develop new biomedical technology and inventions, and strives to help bring those innovations to the marketplace.


National Strategic Research Institute
The National Strategic Research Institute (NSRI) at the University of Nebraska is one of 13 University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs) in the nation. Established in 2012, NSRI is engaged in a long-term, strategic partnership with our Department of Defense (DoD) sponsor, United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). The NSRI provides mission-essential research and development capabilities for USSTRATCOM as well as other DoD components and federal agencies focused on combating weapons of mass destruction.
