Biographical Sketch:

Clinical Expertise:

Dr. Burdorf maintains clinical and research interests in the approach to acute and chronic decompensated heart failure and the recovery from heart failure.  As the Medical Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support program, he works in tandem with our Cardiac Surgery and Critical Care Anesthesiology teams to define the optimal plan of care (LVAD and ECMO) for these complex medical conditions.  He also serves as the Medical Director for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit on the 8th Floor of Clarkson Tower.
