Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Pompili is an academic interventional cardiologist who has focused his career in the arena of transcatheter therapies for complex coronary and valvular disease.  He has served in leadership and educational roles in interventional cardiology and graduate medical education throughout his career.  His clinical interests and expertise are in complex and high-risk PCI, structural heart disease and transcatheter aortic valve replacement and value-based strategies for quality improvement.  Dr. Pompili was a pioneer in the arena of cardiovascular regenerative medicine.  His laboratory and clinical research team fostered critical work in the arena of cell therapy and cardiac aniogenesis post myocardial infarction
