Computational Cardiovascular Simulations Center

The Computational Cardiovascular Simulations Center provides a framework for in-silico clinical trials, optimization of cardiovascular interventions and generation of new hypotheses that can then be tested clinically. Patient-specific computational simulations can guide advanced and complex cardiovascular procedures, clinical decision making and education. Patient-specific computational simulations can reproduce controversial “what if” scenarios in a 3D environment and in a cost- and time-effective fashion to elucidate the events occurring during the cardiovascular interventions. Furthermore, the Computational Cardiovascular Simulations Center can partner closely with device industry to help refine and design new devices for cardiovascular interventions.
