The Division of Geriatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center provides training and experience for future health professionals to educate them in approaches to deliver patient centered care as members of an interprofessional team. The Division of Geriatrics emphasizes interprofessional communication, role clarification, team functioning, collaborative leadership, and interprofessional conflict resolution. The interprofessional opportunities are supported in part by a grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.
