Dr. Eichele is an Assistant professor in Gastroenterology with interests in clinical care of
inflammatory bowel disease, education and clinical research interests in clinical
outcomes in inflammatory bowel disease. Prior to his career in the field of medicine he
was a high school teacher. This has led to continued interest in medical and resident
education

Research Interests
Clinical research in inflammatory bowel disease that includes clinical outcomes in
inflammatory bowel disease and clinical investigations of experimental pharmacological
therapies.
