Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Application Instructions

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is accepting applications from candidates seeking to complete a one year Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program during the 2020-2021 academic year. This fellowship provides an excellent opportunity to train in one of the leading liver transplant centers in the world.  We have one position available for 2021-2022.  We review all applications and candidates who may require J1 or H1b visa sponsorship will be accepted for consideration.  We have both ACGME-accredited and non-ACGME accredited pathways for this fellowship.  For the ACGME-accredited pathway, the candidate must have completed three years of Gastroenterology Fellowship training.  For the non-accredited pathway, the candidate must have completed three years of Internal Medicine Residency training.

An Application Checklist will be emailed to you with the required documents necessary to complete your application.  We will accept applications starting JULY 15, 2020.  The application deadline is DECEMBER 15, 2020.  We will be conducting interviews from SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 to FEBRUARY 26, 2021.
