Quality and Patient Safety Chief Resident
I grew up in Omaha but earned a BS in both Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I then married my wife, Brittany, before returning to Omaha where I completed medical schooling and residency at UNMC. I am passionate about clinical education and curricular design and excited about the opportunity to expound upon the residency program's quality improvement curriculum. Following completion of my chief resident year, I will pursue fellowship with long-term plans to remain closely involved in medical education as an academic nephrologist. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy cooking, exploring the Omaha food scene, designing and playing tabletop board and card games, and spending time with my two children.
