Hometown:

I grew up in a suburb of St. Paul, MN called White Bear Lake.  You may have heard it referenced in the movie Fargo.

Where did you go for Undergraduate and Medical School?

I stayed in Minnesota for undergrad and went to the University of Minnesota.  I then moved to Ohio for medical school at the University of Cincinnati.

Career aspirations:

I have always liked everything about medicine so most likely Hospital Medicine.

What was your first job?

I mowed neighbors yards for years in the summer growing up.  But my first real job was valeting cars at a country club.

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?

Paris is the furthest I have made it from here.  I really enjoy travelling so I am hoping to have a different answer to this question in a few years.

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?

History and traveling are two of my favorite hobbies.  So maybe something like a European tour guide?

Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day?

A lot of people will say the zoo which I agree is great.  But I was amazed by the real life 40 foot tall Christmas tree in the Durham Museum.

Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?

Dr Stoolman got me a huge 16 inch Eileen's cookie for my birthday.
