Where did you go for Undergraduate and Medical School?
Undergraduate: Chadron State College, Chadron, NE
Medical School: UNMC, Omaha, NE

Career aspirations:
General Internist

What was your first job?
I cut and baled hay and alfalfa. It was a summer job where I drove a tractor from sunrise to sunset.  The paycheck went to keeping four wheels on my vehicle. It didn't get much simpler than that.

What is the furthest you've travelled from Omaha?
The furthest I've traveled is to the Netherlands and France with my wife for our honeymoon.  Two weeks wasn't nearly enough time!

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?
I would play the fiddle in a country, bluegrass or Irish folk band.  That, or I'd teach.

Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day?
It's always a great experience going to a Husker football game at Memorial Stadium, so if I only had one day in Nebraska, that's where I'd be.

Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?
Getting to meet and know all the great people in the Internal Medicine program here at UNMC.
