Resident Research Interest Group

Resident Research Interest Group

The Resident Research Interest Group in the Department of Internal Medicine is designed for UNMC students in the three-year residency program who want to pursue clinical and translational research. The group meets on a monthly basis, with a speaker and topic of discussion each month. The curriculum is intended to lead to productive research and to prepare residents to: actively participate on a research team, form hypotheses, design studies, analyze and interpret data, conduct a clinical research protocol, and communicate research findings.

For more information, contact Ted Mikuls, Department of Internal Medicine Vice Chair of Research, or Shannon Thomsen, Research Program Associate.
