Wireless presentation / device sharing

Mersive Solstice enables multiple users to connect simultaneously to a shared display using a range of devices (Windows, Apple, Android) over a WiFi or Ethernet network. *REQUIRED:  Connection the UNMC secured wireless network (TK-421). Directions to share content to display:

  1. Connect your device to the UNMC secured wireless network.
    Faculty, staff and students should use the Secured Wireless Network, called TK-421, when working on the Omaha and Lincoln campuses. TK-421 is a closed wireless network and offers faster speeds and security. One-time setup is required and you will use your UNMC NetID or Nebraska Medicine ID and Password for this setup. Connect by web:

  1. In your browser, type the IP address listed on the display. 
  2. Click CONNECT to begin. 
  3. Download the Mersive Solstice client. 
  4. Click the downloaded file to launch. 
  5. The connected device will be shown at the bottom of the display as a person icon 
  6. Click the item you would like to share: “Desktop”, “App Window” or “Media File” 
    • Desktop:  Shares your desktop and offers the option to share desktop audio (on|off button) 
    • App Window: Shares selective open App Window. Click a visible App Window toshare”  
    • Media File: Share a media file (common image file and video files) 
  7. Click the Stop Sharing button to stop sharing your device. 
  8. Click the Disconnect button to disconnect. 

Connect by App:

  1. Download the Mersive Solstice Client App for mobile devices.
  2. The first time you connect to the display, you will need to enter the IP address. 
  3. When you connecta second time, tap the Discovered tab and the room will be listed. 
  4. Tap the Enter IP tab. 
  5. Type in thedisplayed IP address. 
  6. Press Go. 

Connect using iOS Mobile Devices: 

To enable mirroring: 

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open theControl center. 
  2. Tap the AirPlay button.
