National Core Indicators (NCI)

Nebraska is participating in a National Core Indicators (NCI) project survey that assesses the quality of life for adults receiving services from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Developmental Disabilities program. The goal is to improve these services, and your opinions and feedback help Nebraska do that.

The NCI survey, also known as the Adult Consumer Survey, reaches out to adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

The survey is funded by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and a grant funded by the federal Administration of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD).. The Munroe-Meyer Institute is an independent organization that has been contracted by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to conduct face-to-face interviews with individuals receiving services.

Your decision to participate is voluntary, and your services and supports will not be affected regardless of participation in the survey. All responses and information are confidential.

The interview takes about 30-45 minutes. If you are contacted, we hope you will be willing to set up a time to meet and provide your opinions.

If you are interested in setting up a time to meet with a Munroe-Meyer Institute interviewer at your convenience, please contact Rachel Ray at 1-800-656-3937 ext. 3673 (toll free).
