Developmental Pediatrics is staffed by developmental/behavioral pediatricians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, nurses and a social worker who provide care for children and adolescents with a range of developmental, behavioral and/or emotional problems. They provide initial consultations for assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning as well as ongoing follow-up for monitoring and implementation of treatment plans. This may include medication and/or behavioral treatments as well as coordination of care across multiple disciplines.
- Expertise in psychopharmacology in neurodevelopmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and ADHD; dual diagnosis (MH & ID)
- Expertise in high-risk neonatal follow-up; developmental assessment
- Expertise in treatment of psychiatric disorders; mental health services
- Expertise in behavior management; social skills; combined medication/behavioral management
