Education and Child Development department training opportunities

Our staff provide education as adjunct instructors and guest speakers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Omaha and Metropolitan Community College, and serve on graduate dissertation committees for students enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Omaha, and UNMC. Courses are taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level and include:

Representatives from our department serve on the University of Nebraska Graduate Program in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education (NU-EI/ECSE) faculty institute. The NU-EI/ECSE program is dedicated to preparing professionals to support excellent outcomes for young children birth to age 5 with disabilities and their families. The University of Nebraska graduate program in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education prepares professionals to work with young children birth to age 5 with delays and disabilities and their families. The program currently is being developed and will be a University of Nebraska system-wide program designed for those students majoring in early childhood special education across the four NU campuses.
