Josh Turek, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Munroe-Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation. He received his Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Kansas, completed internship in the public schools in Kansas, and post-doctoral training at the Munroe-Meyer Institute. Dr. Turek conducts his clinic in pediatric practices in Norfolk and Columbus. Dr. Turek’s research interests include assessment of disruptive behaviors and ADHD.  Specifically, Dr. Turek researches the clinical utility of behavior rating scales commonly used in clinical practice, as well the reasons for parent-teacher discrepancies on rating scales. In addition, Dr. Turek has an interest in statistical and research methods, and the interaction between child-adult relationships and behavior.  Dr. Turek helps to provide supervision to Ph.D. and masters-level students.
