Professional Summary
Monica Pleiss provides outpatient occupational therapy services at MMI and in the home, as well as school based occupational therapy services to students in the Omaha Public Schools. She has a background in early childhood education which influences her approach to child development and skill acquisition. Monica strives to use a strengths based approach to treatment and build upon the child’s interests through play. Monica earned her AOTA board certification in pediatrics in 2018, demonstrating her passion for working with children and investment in professional development. She enjoys participating in MMI community engagement events where she is able to promote occupational therapy and connect with families in the community.
