Christina Pynn is a predoctoral intern in the Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology at UNMC. Christina is a 5th year PhD student in the School Psychology Program at Oklahoma State University. Prior, she studied psychology at the University of Kansas. Christina is also pursuing her Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) and takes a behavioral approach to treatment and assessment of children and adolescents.

Christina’s primary interests include assessment and treatment of children and adolescents who experience behavioral difficulties, specifically with ADHD, ASD and other related developmental disabilities. She has worked in several specialized treatment programs for individuals with ADHD and ASD and is interested in treatment in improving treatment delivery through an interdisciplinary approach. Christina training was primarily in elementary and middle schools, so she frequently incorporates school consultation into her practice and works with teachers to decrease disruptive behaviors at home and in the classroom.
