Professional Summary
Elissa Rosebraugh, MA, PLMHP, is a predoctoral intern in the Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology at UNMC and provides services at Western Nebraska Behavioral Health. Elissa is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Wichita State University. As an intern at MMI, Elissa serves rural and underserved populations in the western panhandle of Nebraska. Western Nebraska Behavioral Health is generalist in nature and sees a variety of behavioral concerns across the lifespan. However, Elissa holds a clinical interest in treating and assessing children and adolescents.
Prior to her time at MMI, Elissa has provided evidence-based care in a variety of environments including a community mental health center, an academic medical school, an inpatient unit, and a low-income outpatient clinic. Elissa has clinical training in academic, psychological, and neurodevelopmental assessments and often utilizes behaviorally based interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Parent Management Training (PMT).
