Professional Summary

Erica Lozy, MA, BCBA, PLMHP, is a predoctoral intern in the Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology at UNMC. Erica is a 5th year PhD student in the School Psychology Program at Louisiana State University. Prior, she earned her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and her BS in Psychology from Western New England University. Erica takes a behavior analytic approach to the treatment and assessment of problem behavior in children and adolescents.

Erica’s clinical experience includes providing treatment for children/adolescents and their families with/without intellectual and developmental disabilities with externalizing disorders (e.g., ADHD, ODD, DMDD) and internalizing disorder (e.g., anxiety, depression). Erica also has experience working with elementary-aged children on academic interventions and with parents and teachers to decrease disruptive behaviors in the home and classroom settings. Erica’s research goals, broadly, are to determine effective and efficient methods to deliver treatment to families of children with problem behavior.
