She is a master’s level provider who expects to earn her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a major of study in Health Psychology from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Prior to internship, Haley has provided clinical services within family medicine and maternal care clinics, outpatient mental health clinics, and weight management clinics. She has had the opportunity to provide evaluation and treatment to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and other emotional or behavioral concerns, as well as providing behavioral medicine to individuals across the lifespan serving as a behavioral medicine specialist. Haley’s clinical training has focused on evidenced based practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent Training Models. She works to emphasis the importance of integrating both physical and mental health into treating the whole person and values the role that integrated medical settings have on utilizing behavioral medicine to enhance the health of the whole child. Her research interests revolve around the parental factors that impact their child’s wellbeing, both physically and mentally/emotionally.
