Brooke’s training has focused on evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Aside from practica experiences, Brooke has a strong passion and over 7 years of experience working with children and adult victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and trauma. During her time spent at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Brooke served with the East Tennessee Sexual Assault Center as well as an on-campus sexual assault student victim advocate where she provided individual and group therapy for victims. As someone who grew up in a rural area, Brooke works to not only serve this community but also help to encourage the importance of receiving services that meet a child’s physical and mental health needs.
