Professional Summary
Kelsey Walker, MS, is a predoctoral intern in the Behavioral Pediatrics and Integrated Care program in the department of psychology at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute. She is currently obtaining her Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Memphis (expected graduation date: August 2023). Kelsey has experience in the treatment of internalizing and externalizing concerns in children and adolescents in the forms of consultation and individual, group and family therapy. Additionally, Kelsey has experience in assessment and diagnosis of a range of concerns in youth and adults including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, etc. Kelsey also has experience working with youth who have or have had contact with the juvenile justice system and residential care and have experienced chronic and complex trauma. She approaches her work from an evidence-based, ecological and social justice perspective.
Kelsey, broadly, has specialty interests in trauma-focused care, individual and system consultation, and juvenile justice. Kelsey is looking forward to furthering her skills in assessment and treatment of children and adolescents of all ages and their families in the primary and integrated care settings.

Teaching
- Kelsey co-taught an undergraduate child development class in the fall of 2020. She has also been a teaching assistant for several undergraduate and graduate classes including psychoeducational assessment, clinical assessment, research and statistics, and psychometrics. Additionally, guest lectures include psychology of gender, global mental health, psychometrics and practicum classes.
