Professional Summary
Stefanie Schrieber, PhD, BCBA is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology at the Munroe Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
She received her doctoral degree in school psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in July of 2021 where she developed expertise in school-based consultation and behavioral assessment and intervention. Dr. Schrieber completed her pre-doctoral internship at the May Institute in Randolph, MA where she furthered her clinical skills in a specialized school and residential setting for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Dr. Schrieber is part of the Comprehensive School-Based Mental Health track and divides her time between the school-based assessment and consult and school-based ABA services tracks, both which service the Omaha Public School District. Through these contracts, Dr. Schrieber conducts psychoeducational evaluations to determine whether students are eligible for special education services under Nebraska Rule 51. She also provides behavioral assessment, treatment and consultation services for students exhibiting challenging behaviors in the school setting. Dr. Schrieber also has experience teaching and supervising upcoming school psychologists and behavior analysts.
